Hawaii: Part TWO: THE BEACH!

From the minute Quinn got down on the beach, he loved it. He was not at all scared of the ocean, and would run right in. This was a bit un-nerving for the first day, as it was difficult to be on the beach with him, as he had no sense of his own safety. After awhile, though, by the next day, he was much more reasonable, and understood that he didn't need to run straight into the ocean like a crazy person. He became much more cautious and careful, while still enjoying it.

Here I am, running to my Daddy. This is my first moment on the beach.

Lots of sandcastles and holes were dug during my stay.

This one was fairly deep!

Some more sand play...amazingly, I'm keeping my hat on in this photo, but that wasn't usually the case. Someone told me I looked like I was representing Sweden with this sunsuit on, because it looked like the Swedish Flag. My mom and dad LOVED this sunsuit, as it meant they only needed to put sunscreen on my face, hands and feet!

I loved the waves...and sporting my new Hawaiian Board Shorts...

Future Surfer Dude...

I was very happy in Hawaii. I couldn't believe it when we got back home and I had to wear real clothes again.

Daddy helped me try to boogie-board but as you can see, it didn't work out so well!

Running on the beach!

Running INTO the ocean!

My Footprints...

Taking a rest on the sand with my cousin Tess!

Snack Time before my nap, POG juice (Passion,Orange,Guava) & Peanut Butter Ritz-Bitz...my favorite!

One of my favorite things to do was use this shower on my way back to the room. I would have been happy to have spent my entire vacation at this shower, but for some reason my parents wouldn't let me! I met a lot of people, too, while standing here for so long. After awhile, my parents would drag me away....

Nap Time...I'm exhausted. I slept in a wooden porta-crib in Hawaii. As you can see, I'm nearly too big for it! Many days, I napped for 3 hours!

Stay Tuned for Hawaii: Part 3!
