Dinner & Dish

Recently, I have gone to Dinner & Dish, one of these new outfits where you prepare a dozen or so dinners for your family. It is SO much fun! The meals this past month were especially yummy. The way it works is you choose your meals from an online menu. Then, you register for a 2 hour slot, where you and your friends together go and prepare the meals. Everything is already chopped up and ready to go. You can bring your own 9x13 pans or use their foil ones. You just go from station to station, assemble your meal, and bring it all home in a laundry basket. It then all goes into the freezer, and there are cooking instructions on each meal. It could not be easier. The meals usually feed our family for 2 nights! It's a great deal, and FUN. Here are some photos of our last trip.

Julie prepares Salmon wrapped in Puff Pastry.

Beef & Broccoli Station

Yvette prepares Twice Baked Potatoes

All the meals in the laundry basket...we're ready to leave, now!

Hi Pam,
Very interesting story about "Dinner and Dish." I am like Jan, wishing I lived in a place where I could take advantage of something like this. Especially convenient for this time of year -- and fun to boot!

Love, Nan
