My 10th Birthday, by Madeline

On March 10th, it was my GOLDEN birthday, because I turned 10 years old. I brought in cupcakes to my class. Each was a different color. That night we went to Macaroni Grill with Julie and William, Chad and Lisa and Karson, Papa and Iris, my cousins, and my parents and Maya. They sang happy birthday to me, and the waiter sang it in opera. The next day was my party, at night. First when everyone came we played outside for awhile, soccer and swinging on the disc. Then we decorated greeting cards. Then we had a puzzle race where the 4 teams put together the same puzzle as quickly as possible. We watched "Troop Beverly Hills" and after that we had my cake. Then we played with glow sticks outside when it was dark. Every guest took home the cards they made, the glow stick, the puzzle race prize, and chocolate eggs.
