Puppies for Sale! Lemonade for Sale!

Recently in the park, a family who breeds dogs set up this little area to sell their 8 week old lab puppies. They were a 1/2 block from our house. Needless to say, we had to hold the puppies several times that morning. There was a lot of begging to buy one, and I'm happy to report that we did not relent. Though it was tempting!

That same morning, the kids had a lemonande stand. They've had several so far this season, and it's been a pretty decent source of cash for them. We've been buying lots of frozen lemonade and making lots of chocolate chip cookies! On this particular morning, it was a bit chilly, so they were also selling Hot Cocoa w/ whipped cream. It's a very versatile outfit. :)
Notice also in the front of the stand, a dog bowl w/ water, and free dog biscuits. We are very pet-friendly, too! (not to mention, it does help bring in customers.)
