Dear Madeline and Maya,
I loved seeing photos of you on your first day of school -- 7:30 a.m. -- quite a switch from your summer hours, I'll bet. You both look beautiful and ready to face the year to come!
First day of school used to be very exciting to me as a first grade teacher . . . I was as eager to start the new year as my students were! I hope you find your new 5th and 8th grade studies exciting. . .
