Summer Heaven

Quinn is officially in summer heaven. He could and would spend every waking moment outside if we'd let him. He gets absolutely FILTHY every single day from crawling around the grass and gardens. We've pretty much abandoned bathing him in the morning...what's the point? His clothes have a constant dark stain on the knees from crawling, and his hands are dirty all the time too. But he is ONE HAPPY boy when left to roam around outside. Mike took him to the park yesterday, where he played for a solid hour in the sand and on the playground equipment. Last night, he played ball with Madeline (poor Maya was studying for finals...), and rooted around in our perennial garden before taking apart one of our sprinkler misters. This weekend we hope to get his wading pool up and running, and see how he looks in a bathing suit. Oh! One more thing, Quinn is a popsicle boy, too. :) Summer RULES~says Q!
